WILLMAR, Minn. – A 19-year-old man is in jail in Kandiyohi County in connection with the drug overdose death of a man in Willmar.
Willmar Police say just before 1 p.m. Friday, a 911 caller indicated a 26-year-old man was found not breathing at a residence. Lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful, and the man died.
Investigators believe the man died of a drug overdose, and have identified a person they thought sold him the drugs.
A search warrant was performed at a home Tuesday morning, and the man was arrested on potential charges of third-degree murder and third-degree controlled substance crimes.
