More than three dozen applicants for U of M presidency

MINNEAPOLIS – A search committee is reviewing nearly 40 applications for president of the University of Minnesota.

Chair Mary Davenport says she anticipates the search committee’s recommendations will be presented at the Feb 8 and 9 meeting of the board of regents. She says the finalists’ names will be public at that point.

The new president will be the university’s 18th.
