VERGAS, Minn. (KFGO) – A Vergas man suffered injuries in a crash in Vergas Monday night.
According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office Joshua Carlson, 45, was driving an SUV on South Pelican Avenue shortly after 9:30 p.m. when he struck a tree, parked cars, a home, and a garage, before he was ejected from the vehicle.
Carlson was taken to Essentia Health in Fargo by a Lifelink helecopter.
There were no passengers in the vehicle and no one else was injured in the crash.
The Sheriff’s Office said they believe impairment was a factor in the crash. It remains under investigation.
