Three children recovering after train collision in southern Minnesota

GLENCOE, Minn. – Three children are recovering after the vehicle they were in was hit by a train in Glencoe in southern Minnesota. 

Investigators said the children were in a vehicle that failed to stop at a railroad crossing on Saturday and was hit by an oncoming train. The lights at the crossing were activated and the driver was cited for failing to stop. 

The three children were taken to the hospital for evaluation following the crash.
