ST. PAUL, Minn. – The flu is blamed for two deaths in Minnesota over the last week.
The state Department of Health’s weekly report now shows a total of three flu-related deaths this season.
There was only one listed the previous week. 53 people were hospitalized with influenza the week ending Dec. 2. That’s nearly double the 29 hospitalizations in the final week of November.
One school and one long-term care facility reported flu outbreaks.
