GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A burning candle is being blamed for sparking a house fire in Grand Forks Wednesday.
Fire crews were called to 324 Walnut Street shortly before 6:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found smoke coming from the second story of the home.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. All residents exited the home and there were no injuries.
The family was displaced and is being assisted by the American Red Cross. An estimate on the damage was not released.
