ALBERTVILLE, Minn. – One man is dead and a woman is hospitalized after a four-vehicle crash on I-94 in Albertville northwest of the Twin Cities Wednesday.
The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash around 3 p.m. Three SUVs were traveling slowly in the left lane when a car approached the area and all four vehicles collided.
The driver of the car, 43-year-old Benjamin Wittrock of Sauk Rapids, died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
One of the SUV drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The two other drivers and three passengers were uninjured.
