MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota Twins Community Fund unveiled its special license plate design.
Last session, lawmakers passed legislation allowing plates for pro sports teams’ charitable foundations. The Twins’ Matt Hodson said in addition to the normal plate fee, a $30 annual fee will go to the Twins Community Fund.
“It will help empower our next generation, and build a better tomorrow for all of us. So, it’s a win-win for everybody,” Hodson said.
The plate features “This is Twins Territory” along with the club logo, and an “M and North Star” mark – all in the Twins’ red, white and navy color scheme.
The plates will be available Jan. 1.
