MINNEAPOLIS – A Burnsville man has pleaded guilty to illegally possessing machine gun conversion devices or switches.
According to court documents, federal agents received tips that a federal firearms licensed business employee was selling 3D printed machine gun conversion devices that are able to make firearms fully automatic.
An undercover agent went to the business in March and purchased one of the devices.
Officers executed a search warrant of 29-year-old Benjamin Zwack’s home and vehicle several weeks later and recovered multiple guns, suspected homemade silencers, and ammunition.
