According to the latest crop progress report from USDA, for the week ending November 5, sixty-seven percent of the corn has been harvested in North Dakota. Dylan Nelson of Embden Grain in eastern North Dakota says harvest was off to a good start until snowy, wet weather slowed progress, but he says the push is on to get the crop off. Nelson says considering the lack of moisture in the area this growing season, yields have been better than some may have expected.
