BABBITT, Minn. (KFGO) – Police in Babbitt on Minnesota’s Iron Range say a 54-year-old-man killed a couple who opened their home to him.
The suspect is jailed on suspicion of second-degree murder and formal charges are pending. The victims were 78-year-old Clifford Johnson and 79-year-old Christine Johnson.
Police have not released information on a possible motive. The state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with the investigation.
