ST. PAUL, Minn. – A state panel is already sorting through hundreds of designs as they work to select a new Minnesota state flag and seal.
Members of the State Emblems Redesign Committee says they’ve received more than 775 designs since they began accepting submissions earlier this month. Most of the designs are for the new flag, with about ten percent of the submissions for the new state seal.
Designs will be accepted through October 30th, and five finalists in each category will be selected by the panel next month.
