Here we are friends, just a little over a week that I have been a part of KFGO and I couldn’t be happier. My life this past year has been filled with a lot of ups & downs, more specifically the loss of my son. The loss of any one in our lives is tough, but this one shook this mama bear to the core. As it would anyone.
You may know the story, but for those of you who don’t, after 30+ years in radio, I simply needed a change & I wasn’t quite sure what or where it would be, but I knew I needed new challenges. KFGO came at the most unexpected & right time. It awakened a dream I had to be a part of a great radio station that has been a part of the community and so many peoples lives for a long time.
Being a part of the Annual Big Iron proved it. All of you who stopped in to say hi, welcomed me with open arms & great stories of KFGO. From the radio always being in the barn tuned to KFGO, to the station you always listen to in the tractor. And that’s what it’s all about. Community and family. We’re all one big family in this big, yet little community. And this girl couldn’t be more happy to be a part of your lives.
The Morning Crew, with Doug & Dan, along with myself, will strive to give you news and information, and hopefully a little something to carry with you throughout your day.
So THANK YOU, for welcoming me into your lives.
Robbie D.
