CARLTON, Minn. – A man is dead after his car was struck by a train west of Cloquet in northeastern Minnesota.
The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old Brock Hascall of Wright, Minnesota was driving on a road parallel to Highway 210 Saturday morning when his vehicle was hit broadside by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train. Hascall died at the scene.
Nobody on the train was hurt.
