ROSEVILLE, Minn. – A Roseville teen will stand trial as an adult for an alleged baseball bat attack that injured four family members and left his grandmother dead.
Matthew Hill, 18, was 17 at the time of the incident last October, and was certified as an adult in Ramsey County court Thursday.
According to the criminal complaint, Hill’s sister and mother suffered serious head and facial wounds, and his 88-year-old grandmother was found dead of stab wounds to her neck. Two other relatives suffered minor injuries.
Hill is facing second-degree murder and assault charges.
