ST. PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is asking for help finding his family’s missing pet.
In a social media post Thursday, Walz said his family was searching for their orange tabby named Afton. The governor asked his neighbors in Saint Paul to keep an eye out for the cat, saying there are two kids who would be grateful for his return.
The seven-year-old cat was also reported missing in 2018, but was found in a neighbor’s garage about a week later.
The governor’s family adopted Afton from a shelter in Mankato.
