MINNEAPOLIS – A Minneapolis police officer is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries after being dragged by a suspect in a fleeing vehicle.
The M-P-D is asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect, 27-year-old Presley Peltier. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle with a person slumped over inside around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The car had confirmed stolen licenses on it. When officers approached the car, they say Peltier sped forward, dragging an officer a short distance before crashing.
Police gave chase as Peltier reversed and drove away, but eventually lost him. Anyone with information about Peltier is asked to call CrimeStoppers.
