LARIMORE, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported a crash near the southwest edge of Larimore, where two people have died in a motorcycle accident.
The driver, a 59-year-old man from Drayton, ND, and the 44-year-old female passenger, also from Drayton, were riding in a convoy of motorcycles on a club ride yesterday afternoon around 2.
The motorcycle was westbound on Grand Forks County Road 4 and 16th Avenue NE when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, and the bike entered the ditch, vaulted off a driveway, and came to rest in the north ditch.
Both riders were thrown from the bike and sustained fatal injuries.
Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office, Larimore Fire & Rescue, Larimore Ambulance Service, and Altru Ambulance Service also assisted in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
