MINNETONKA, MN – Minnetonka police are investigating two assaults Sunday morning believed were committed by the same man.
Police say a woman reported a man armed with a gun grabbed her by the neck in her driveway, flashed a weapon, then ran away toward I-394. The second assault happened two hours later by Lake Minnetonka’s L-R-T Regional Trail, where a man grabbed a woman’s shoulder, exposed himself, then walked away.
Investigators believe the suspect in both cases is the same man, wearing a blue mask, a black shirt, and sweatpants.
