(Horace Bean Days)
HORACE, ND (KFGO) – It’s Horace Bean Days this weekend, and they’re celebrating 150 golden years as a city.
Weekend events include a pancake feed, street dance, and fireworks. Paige Shockman from Horace Parks says it’s an important get-together for everyone in the area:
“Having a huge celebration where the whole community can come together and celebrate and just be a part of a community again you can just see the happiness and the joy it brings other people. So, I think it’s been really nice to see that happen for our community,” says Paige Shockman from Horace Parks.
Shockman says the city is growing and expanding giving the Horace small-town community a more big-city feeling.
