BARNES COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of the Bismarck man who died early Friday morning when he was hit by a semi as he was walking on I-94 just east of Valley City.
35-year-old Cameron Davis Red Bird was walking westbound in the middle of the right lane when he was struck at around 3 a.m. Friday. The Highway Patrol says a semi was driving westbound on I-94 near milepost 299.
Red Bird was pronounced dead on the scene.
The NDHP is investigating the crash.
