
MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – A man and woman from Burlington, North Dakota died after the motorcycle they were riding hit a car as it was crossing Highway 2 four miles west of Minot Thursday afternoon.
The Highway Patrol said the car was stopped at a frontage road stop sign when the driver began to cross the road. The motorcycle hit the car and both riders were thrown from the bike.
The 64-year-old woman riding the motorcycle died at the scene. The 62-year-old man driving the motorcycle died at Trinity Hospital in Minot.
Neither was wearing a helmet.
The 36-year-old Minot man driving the car was not hurt.
The crash is under investigation.
