WEST FARGO (KFGO) – A popular Mexican restaurant and bar was the scene of a fire Tuesday morning in West Fargo.
The West Fargo Fire Department was dispatched to Mas Tequila, located at 611 32nd Ave W., just after 7:00 a.m. When crews arrived, they could see light smoke inside the building. Upon investigation, an active fire was discovered in the ceiling.
Crews were able to put the fire out, but the restaurant sustained heavy smoke damage and the kitchen had some fire damage. No injuries to firefighters or anyone else were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and the cost of damages has not yet been determined.
The West Fargo Police and Sanford Ambulance assisted at the scene.
Mas Tequila was founded in 2021 and opened to the public in the spring of 2022.
