
NEW TOWN, N.D. (KFGO) — A fatal single-vehicle rollover crash in New Town yesterday night, around 11:20, resulted in the death of a 32-year-old male driver from Mexico and injured two others.
Authorities reported that three men were an SUV traveling southbound on 87th Ave NW failed to negotiate a curve, causing it to run off the road and roll before coming to rest in a ditch.
The driver and front passenger were ejected from the vehicle as they were not wearing seat belts. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The front passenger, a 25-year-old male from Mexico, suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Trinity Hospital in Minot for medical treatment.
The rear passenger, a 26-year-old male from Mexico, sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
