What’s wrong with this picture?
The fries are golden, HOT and plentiful. The burger is fresh, and “fits” the price point. The answer is. Nothing. There’s no problem with this.
The problem with a fast food burger is it doesn’t have the ambiance and “experience” of the high-brow $15 burgers and restaurants.
I’ve been transitioning in this period inflation.
Going out to eat is about the people and conversation. If the food is over priced and not as good as expected the “experience” is tarnished. The people and event are smothered by cold fries, small burgers and over priced fare.
The McDonald’s quarter-pounder with cheese value meal didn’t disappoint in any of the boxes to check.
Fact is the fries were the freshest batch I’ve had all year and the burger just what I expected. Toss in a crisp fountain diet coke for a meal half the price I’d have paid someplace else? I’m a happy dad.
So moving forward I’ll concentrate more on the people and conversation and less about the “name” on the sign. Heck when it’s billions and billions served they must be doing something right?
