WASHINGTON, D.C. (KFGO) – Gov.Doug Burgum qualified for the first Republican debate in Milwaukee by recent tracking of national polls including Politico and the Morning Consult. Burgum is the 7th candidate to meet all the requirements to participate in the first debate next month.
Campaign spokesman Lance Trover said in a release that in less than 7 weeks, Governor Burgum has exceeded all the requirements for the debate.
Burgum has already received contributions from over 40,000 donors, including more than 200 from 20 different states.
Previously, Burgum received 1 percent in the national JMC Analytics poll. In addition, Burgum polled at 6 percent in the University of New Hampshire poll and at 3 percent in the Fox Business poll of Iowa.
