FARGO, ND – The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks fell to the Kane County Cougars 3-1 Sunday afternoon.
The RedHawks got on the board first in the bottom of the third inning when Scott Schreiber hit an RBI double to center field that scored Andy Gravdahl taking a 1-0 lead.
The Cougars answered in the top of the fourth inning when Jimmy Kerrigan hit an RBI double plating J.D. Osborne to tie the game at 1-1. A Todd Lott sacrifice fly to right field scored Johan Davis to give Kane County a 2-1 lead.
An Osborne RBI single to drove in Josh Allen to lift the Cougars to a 3-1 lead.
The RedHawks begin a series in Sioux Falls on Tuesday night, Jack Michaels will have the call, pregame at 6:15 p.m. first pitch 6:35 p.m. on 740 The Fan and 107.3FM.
