(KFGO/KNFL) Yanio Perez doubled and homered to lead Lincoln as the Saltdogs defeated the F-M RedHawks 12-2 at Haymarket Park in Lincoln on Wednesday night.
The Saltdogs scored four runs in both the fourth and sixth innings. Nate Samson added two hits and two RBI and Will Kengor went 3-4 with an RBI for Lincoln.
Leo Pina homered in the sixth inning for the RedHawks, which had 13 hits and four walks but left 14 runners on base.
Correlle Prime (3-5) took the loss on the mound for the RedHawks. He allowed seven hits and four earned runs in five innings of work.
