FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) — Fargo Police have identified the man whose body was recovered from the Red River in Fargo last Wednesday.
Witnesses called 911 to report the man, 35-year-old Casey Binfield, crawled along the outside of the chainlink fence of the float bridge south of the Midtown Dam and then jumped into the river.
Numerous agencies responded to search for Binfield, and his body was found a few hours later by Valley Water Rescue.
Services are planned for Binfield on Friday in Wahpeton.
