
BAGLEY, Minn. (KFGO) – An 20-year-old man died in a drowning accident at a lake in northern Minnesota Sunday night.
The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to Lake Lomond in Bagley around 8:15 p.m. The caller reported Derek McCann of Bagley jumped off a swimming raft into the water and hadn’t been seen since.
The Sheriff’s Office Dive Team recovered McCann’s body around 11:15 p.m. in about 18 feet of water.
The University of North Dakota Forensic Pathology Center will do an autopsy. The incident is under investigation.
