WEST FARGO (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a Bemidji woman died in a crash in West Fargo last night. She was driving south in her car on 9th Street South and crossing the intersection at 19th Avenue East. She had a green light.
A minivan was heading west on 19th Avenue East and approached the intersection at a high speed. The light was red when it entered the intersection, striking the car on the driver’s door. The car left the roadway and hit a parked pickup and came to rest in a parking lot.
The driver of the van, 30-year-old Sabastijan Tahirovic of Fargo, was transported to Sanford Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Criminal charges are pending for him.
