FORT RIPLEY, Minn. – The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman was found dead lying in the road south of Brainerd. A passerby called to report seeing a body at an intersection off Highway 371 in Fort Ripley around 5:40 Sunday morning.
The Minnesota BCA is helping local investigators with the case. There’s no word on whether any arrests have been made.
