Canoe and Kayak Rentals at Hjemkomst Landing in partnership with Moorhead Parks and Recreation will open Saturday (rain and wind dependent). Hours are: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00-8:00 p.m., Saturdays 11:00a.m.-6:00 p.m., and Sundays 12:00-6:00 p.m. Cost to rent a canoe or kayak is $10/hour/vessel.

Participants will paddle up river to a designated turnaround point, grab a prize (this year a phone dry bag), and return down river to the finish. All races begin and end at the south boat ramp at Dike East. Early bird fee is $20/person. A limited number of canoes, single kayaks, and tandem kayaks are available to rent for $15.
It was a super hot and windy evening for the Lil Angers Clinic & Deby but 44 fish were caught in one hour! Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped the youth learn skills that will last a lifetime while collecting memories. This event is coordinated in partnership with FM Walleyes Unlimited.
