Amanda Nash (Stutsman County Correctional Center)
OAKES, N.D. – The Oakes, North Dakota Police Department received a call about a suspicious package containing drugs that were delivered by FedEx to a residence in Oakes on June 12th. Law enforcement arrived at the residence and picked up the bag.
Police Chief Matt O’Brien said a short time after that call, officers were called back to the residence for a woman who was there looking for the package. The woman left the residence, but officers were able to locate the vehicle south of Oakes. She was taken into custody and transported to Stutsman County Correctional Center.
Amanda Nash of Oregon is facing a number of charges including attempted possession of Methamphetamine.
The case is still being reviewed by the Dickey County State’s Attorney.
