ROCHESTER, Minn. – Structural concerns prompted the evacuation of a large residential tower Friday afternoon in downtown Rochester.
According to city officials, around 180 residents of the Rochester Towers building were ordered to evacuate. Vehicles were pulled from the building’s parking lot, and several streets in the area were closed.
The structural issues were discovered during an inspection.
