(KFGO/KNFL) Dillon Thomas smacked a go-ahead two-run home run in the 6th inning and Leo Pina went 3-5 with 3 RBI as the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks beat Lincoln 10-8 at Haymarket Park on Tuesday afternoon.
Pina singled in two in the top of the first inning as the RedHawks led 3-0 early in the game, but Lincoln chased F-M starter Jake Dykhoff in the 4th inning and led 6-5 after four innings.
Down 8-6 in the 6th, Manny Boscan singled in Evan Alexander to cut the Lincoln lead to 8-7, them Thomas smacked his third homer of the season to give F-M a 9-8 advantage. Boscan homered in the top of the 8th, his first of the season to add to the lead at 10-8.
John Witkowski picked up the win in relief for the RedHawks, as he delivered three scoreless innings, scattering three hits. Reid Birlingmair pitched a scoreless ninth for his fifth save of the season.
