SISSETON, S.D. (KFGO) – A man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Roberts County Sunday night.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened less than a mile north of Sisseton on State Highway 127, and was reported just before 9.
An SUV was southbound when the driver attempted to pass another vehicle. The driver of the SUV lost control of the vehicle, entered the west ditch, hit a field approach, went airborne and rolled.
The 25 year-old man driving the vehicle was dead at the scene.
He was not buckled up, and alcohol use is under investigation.
The name of the victim has not been released.
