FARGO (KFGO) โ The Fargo Public Schools District has hired a Director of Educational Justice. Tristan Love will replace Dr. Tamara Uselman, who resigned earlier this year from the post which was previously known as the Director of Equity and Inclusion.
Love comes to FPS from Project Wayfinder, a social-emotional learning and mental health curriculum designed at Stanford University to help students find greater purpose. Love started his career as a teacher and assistant principal in Houston, Texas. He was the principal of middle school in Colorado Springs before joining Project Wayfinder in 2021.
His talks on creating a just educational system have been featured in the Wall Street Journal and on TEDx.
Love will assume the role of Director of Educational Justice on June 8.
