FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) — Some local singers got to take the stage with an iconic rock band Wednesday night.
The Sheyenne and Moorhead High School Choirs joined Foreigner and helped them sing their biggest hit.
“It was so exciting, I have never been to a concert before, so it is my first concert,” senior Paige Holbrook said. “Being able to sing on stage with a famous rock group is truly amazing. I have never felt so ecstatic in my life.”
The experience is one that some of the choir students want to experience more often going forward.
“It was incredibly inspiring,” senior Andrew Scheissel said. “I want to be a professional musician one day and to me it was a really, really captivating experience, it made me want to perform more, it made me want to continue pursuing the music that I love to do so much.”
Foreigner’s next stop is Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Welch, Minnesota on Friday.
