Dilworth Police Department thanks area law enforcement for help during busy few days

DILWORTH, Minn. (KFGO) – The Dilworth Police Department is thanking area law enforcement agencies for their help during what they call a busy few days.

In a social media post, the department said, “we have had to ask for assistance from our amazing partners at Clay County Sheriff’s Office and Moorhead Police Department to cover the volume of calls. We have located 3 guns, 1 ghost gun and a possibly altered Glock automatic 9mm.”

The post said officers have also recovered multiple rounds of ammunition, marijuana wax, cocaine, and a large amount of cash. They are also still searching for a suspect who fired several rounds in city limits recently. 

The department would also like to remind folks that there is currently a police officer position open on the force.
