The Minnesota Twins took the second game of a four game series against Kansas City Friday night at Target Field with a final score of 8-6. Max Kepler, Jorge Polanco and Jose Miranda all homered and Pablo Lopez picked up his second win of the season going six innings, giving up eight hits and six earned runs. Jorge Lopez picked up his second save of the season holding off the Royals comeback after Kansas City was trailing 8-2 before scoring two runs in the sixth and seventh innings. The two teams will face each other Saturday for game three of the series with a 1:10pm first pitch at Target Field.
