GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A home in Grand Forks was significantly damaged by fire Tuesday night.
The Grand Forks Fire Department was dispatched just after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening and found heavy smoke coming from the home at 523 N. 3rd Street. Crews entered the house and encountered heavy smoke and flames but were able to quickly locate and put out the fire.
There were no injuries to any occupants or firefighters on the scene but two pets inside the home did not survive, and one resident was displaced. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
