Fernando Valdez-Alvarez
MINNEAPOLIS – A lengthy prison sentence for a man convicted in the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy in Richfield, Minnesota.
19-year-old Fernando Valdez-Alvarez was sentenced to 25 1/2 years for the murder of Jahmari Rice at South Education Center.
Two other students were wounded by Valdez-Alvarez in the shooting outside the school last February.
