(KFGO/KNFL) In its 40th game of the season, the Fargo Force has matched its win total from last season. The Force beat Sioux Falls 4-2 at Scheels Arena on Wednesday night. The game was rescheduled after weather postponed it on December 16th.
Cole Knuble tallied a goal and an assist, and Owen Mehlenbacher added a pair of assists. Mehlenbacher has two goals and four assists in four games since being acquired from Muskegon.
Kyle Smolen, Mac Swanson, and Brasen Boser also added goals for the Force. With the victory, the Force are now at 60 points, six points ahead of idle Waterloo at the top of the USHL’s Western Conference.
Anton Castro stopped 25 shots for Fargo. The Force host Lincoln this weekend at Scheels Arena.
