MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – Minot Police arrested a murder suspect Monday night.
Police responded to a motel in northwest Minot shortly before midnight on a report of a shooting where they found an unresponsive man with a gunshot wound. The 38-year-old victim, identified as 38-year-old Timothy Chrishaod Smith of Minot, was transported by ambulance where he died.
The suspect, 32-year-old Darrion Jackson turned himself in to police a short time later and was charged with the murder and is being held in the Ward County Jail.
