FARGO (KFGO) – The total is in!
Midwest Radio Fargo Moorhead stations KFGO, Y94, and Froggy 99.9 joined forces on Jan. 26th and 27th to raise money during the 23rd annual Cares for Kids Radiothon benefiting Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo.
On-air personalities broadcasted live from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days from the studios of Midwest Radio Fargo Moorhead, with volunteers at phone banks taking donations. Patients and families shared personal stories about how Sanford Children’s Hospital has made a difference in their lives.
Special stories like radiothon veteran Teddy served as a reminder about what Sanford Children’s is doing in the community.
Money raised during the radiothon is used to support special programs, purchase high-tech medical equipment, and fund research and education for Sanford Children’s Hospital, the only Children’s Miracle Network hospital in North Dakota.
100% of funds raised stay local to help children from throughout North Dakota and northwest Minnesota who receive care at Sanford Children’s.
The Cares for Kids Radiothon officially raised $152,550 for Sanford Children’s Fargo.
