ST. PAUL, Minn – The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is looking to fill more than 200 paid summer internships this year.
The DNR’s Becky Keller said it is a great opportunity for college students:
“Our positions are located all across the state,” Keller said. “There’s a wide variety of areas that our internships cover. Things like fisheries, forestry, parks and trails, watercraft inspectors.
Keller said all DNR internships are paid positions.
“We pay 15 dollars an hour and depending on the position would depend on the number of hours,” Keller said. “They really range from 20 hours a week all the way up to 40 hours per week.”
Applicants are not required to be majoring in natural resources or a related college degree to be eligible for the internships.
The DNR is accepting applications through Jan. 31.
