Adam Zimmer
MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. (KFGO) – The son of former Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer died from excessive drinking.
38-year-old Adam Zimmer was found dead in his suburban Twin Cities home on Halloween. Mendota Heights police responded to Zimmer’s home and found that there were no suspicious circumstances in the death. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office classified the death as natural. z
Zimmer joined the Vikings in 2014 when his father was named head coach. This season, he was working as an offensive assistant for the Cincinnati Bengals.
