MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO) – Concerned family members found a woman dead in her south Moorhead home late Thursday night.
Moorhead Police were called to the home on the 3800 block of 32nd Street S. around 11 p.m. Officers observed traumatic injuries on the woman’s body and found no sign of forced entry into the house.
The Moorhead Police Department is investigating with the assistance of the Minnesota Bureau of Apprehension. The woman’s body will be transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. Police say there is a person of interest being sought in relation to the crime but no known threat to the public.
Crime scene tape surrounded the home Friday morning in the residential neighborhood about a quarter mile west of the Village Green Golf Course.
