ARDOCH, N.D. – A 59-year-old Gilby man is facing DUI charges after being seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Grand Forks County.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol said, shortly before 11 a.m., the man’s pickup drove off the road, entered a ditch, and struck a tree southwest of Ardoch, northwest of Grand Forks.
Troopers said the driver was pinned in the truck and had to be cut out. He was then taken by ambulance to Altru with serious injuries.
The man was wearing a seat belt.
